Min Afon Sea View Cottage
Gwynedd
Min Afon Sea View Cottage opens into a living room with an open fire and views across to the bay—the kind of room where you can watch the light change on the water while the kettle's on. The kitchen-diner sits alongside it, fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and the basics you need to cook properly. Downstairs there's also a separate toilet. The terrace runs along the front, positioned to catch the sun and the sunsets over Cardigan Bay.
Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep six: one with a zip-and-link bed that can be split into singles on request, one with two single beds, and one with a single bed plus a pull-out single. There's a bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. The essentials—heating, hot water, bed linen, towels and wifi—come as standard, and fuel for the fire is included. One dog is welcome. Parking for two cars is on site.
This detached cottage sits in Llanaber near Barmouth, five minutes' drive from the town's shops and restaurants. Miles of beach stretch from here towards Harlech; the Mawddach Trail and Dyffryn Trail run close by; and Cader Idris is twenty minutes inland for walkers. Snowdonia National Park surrounds the area. The location suits families wanting beach days, cyclists, walkers and anyone simply looking for a base with sea views.
