Hen Stabl is a three-bedroom barn conversion on a working farm less than two miles from Caernarfon, positioned between the Menai Strait and the foothills of Snowdonia. The village sits within easy reach of the castle that defines the town's skyline, and the surrounding area draws visitors for its mix of outdoor pursuits, heritage sites and beaches. Within ten minutes' walk is Plas Menai, the outdoor centre; a cycle track runs past the gate.
The cottage spreads across two floors with an open-plan ground floor where the kitchen, dining and living spaces flow together, with French doors opening onto a walled garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms—a double and two singles on separate floors—and two bathrooms with baths and showers. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; electricity runs on a meter at a reduced rate once the initial allowance is used. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. A cot and travel cot are available, and a highchair can be provided.
The enclosed garden is shared with other cottages on site; there is private parking. The property does not allow smoking. It suits families and groups wanting a base to explore Gwynedd—whether for walks in the mountains, water sports, or days at nearby attractions such as the mountain railway or Greenwood Forest Park.
