Foryd Bay sits on the Wales Coast Path, with direct access to a pebble-backed sandy beach and the RSPB Lapwing reserve. Caernarfon's castle and town centre lie 4 miles away, while Snowdonia National Park and Snowdon itself are within striking distance for walkers and mountain bikers. The Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, frames the whole area.
Ty Coch Chatham is a ground-floor property sleeping two in a double bed. The open-plan living space centres on a woodburner with a 32" TV, DVD player and music dock. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, microwave and washer-dryer included—and the shower room has a walk-in cubicle. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture provides outdoor space, and there's parking for one car. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, along with the initial fuel for the stove.
The location suits couples seeking coastal walks, birdwatchers, and anyone wanting access to Snowdonia without the crowds of busier bases. A pub serving food is 1 mile away; shops and restaurants are 2½ miles in Caernarfon. Children under 16 are not accommodated except for babies in arms. One pet stays free.
