Ty Hen is a former farmhouse on the Llŷn Peninsula, sitting within the owner's working farmland. The building commands views across countryside and out to the Irish Sea. A quiet beach at Porth Colmon lies three-quarters of a mile away, close enough for a short walk but far enough to feel genuinely rural and peaceful. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay, with private parking for two cars and additional roadside spaces nearby.
Five bedrooms sleep up to eight: two doubles on the first floor, two single beds in a third room, and two further singles. The ground floor contains a living room with a woodburner (initial fuel included), a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering with a cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is one bathroom with bath and shower, plus a separate toilet upstairs. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The property includes a highchair, travel cot and stairgate for families with young children. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden with seating and furniture, plus a bike store. One dog is welcome, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep-farming area. No smoking is permitted inside.
The Llŷn Peninsula is known for walking, cycling and beach time. Pwllheli, 15 miles away, has shops, restaurants and sailing facilities. Portmeirion and Caernarfon Castle are within reach, as are Snowdonia's hills. A seasonal village shop sits half a mile from the property.
