Watton’s - 60 Snowdonia View

Photo: Snowdon View Caravan Park

Caernarfon's holiday parks sit within reach of both the Snowdonia peaks and the Llyn Peninsula's beaches. Watton's - 60 Snowdonia View is a static caravan on one such site, positioned to take in views across the mountains while remaining close enough to the shoreline for a quick walk. The park itself maintains its grounds well and runs a heated indoor pool shared with other visitors, along with a selection of on-site eating options and various activities from bike hire to water sports.

The caravan sleeps six across three bedrooms—one double and two twin rooms—with a single shower room. The ground-floor layout centres on an open-plan living and kitchen area with gas cooking, electric oven and microwave, a fridge-freezer, and a gas fire for cooler evenings. Freeview television, bed linen and towels are provided, as is electricity. Parking for two cars sits on the property itself. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. The site is non-smoking throughout.

From here, the Llyn Peninsula spreads out for exploration—Pwllheli harbour and beach, Porthdinllaen's noted waterside bar, Portmeirion's distinctive architecture and the Welsh Highland Railway at Porthmadog all lie within short drives. Criccieth and Harlech castles sit further along the coast. Coastal paths offer miles of walking, where grey seals and seabirds are regular sightings.

Will has been an inspiration to the tavern bringing in a fantastic new dynamic to the pub, he has lifted it to another level with his ideas, a massive plus for the tavern and the site and he and his partner are such nice people

Beautiful, well-kept park with amazing views. Purchasing a holiday home on the park was the best decision ever. Can’t praise the staff enough for all their hard work. The food in The Little Tavern is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Highly recommend this park!!

Shocking parent company despite its well known name in wales and as for the site itself, well the management used to be a lot better (in the days of previous owners and many complained about them at the time so talk about out of the frying pan) but now it really is just a big scam sales operation ripping off people and offering very poor customer service once they have signed up. The law for these parks seriously needs to be changed but nothing will be done meaning that the owners and managers get away with it. Good luck trying to sell your caravan if you want to leave, you WILL be ripped off as others have pointed out in their reviews with ridiculously low offers being made way below what the caravans are really worth....surprise surprise. Once you buy a caravan you dont really own it as such because everything is controlled by the site making sure they can charge as much as possible whether you stay or you leave the site. This company does not care one bit about its customers, they only want your money, there are other reviews saying the same thing on their other sites not just this one so please be warned. Quite honestly I would rather sleep in my car on the road outside than buy one of their caravans. "Buyer Beware"
