White Sands

Criccieth's pebble beach lies a short walk away, and the castle overlooks the town. Porthmadog, where the Welsh Highland Railway runs, is 5 miles south; Snowdonia National Park spreads beyond it. Harlech Castle stands about 15 miles west. The immediate neighbourhood holds cafés, independent shops and restaurants within a few minutes on foot.

White Sands occupies the second floor of a converted church, reached by its own staircase—39 steps to the entrance. The open-plan living space has a smart TV and electric woodburner. The kitchen is equipped for cooking: electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. Two bedrooms sleep four: one has a double bed, the other a bunk with a double base and single above. A bathroom with bath and shower serves both. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Private parking for one car comes with the booking. The property is non-smoking; children under 5 are not suitable, and a maximum of two children over 5 are permitted.
