Rural hamlet life on the Lleyn Peninsula means quiet country walks from the door and mountain views across the fields. Criccieth's beach and castle are a short drive away, as are Porthmadog's harbour and steam railway. The surrounding area fills with snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring, with footpaths and quiet lanes threading through for cycling and longer walks.
Kris Kin is a detached barn conversion with timber beams and wooden flooring. Four bedrooms sleep eight: one double with an ensuite shower on the ground floor, and three further doubles upstairs. A second bathroom with a bath and shower serves the upper level. The ground floor holds the main living and dining space, opening to the garden through patio doors, plus a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. An enclosed garden has furniture and a barbecue, and a private hot tub sits in its own courtyard. Parking is available for three cars, with an electric vehicle charging point on site. One dog is welcome. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included.

We stayed in Dutch Barn 1. Hands down one of the best equipped, cleanest and most beautiful holiday cottages I've stayed in. It was everything you can possibly need for 4 people, and then more. The inclusion of a washing machine is genius, we didn't use it but it's an option. The shower is amazing, hottub under the stars is great, lovely garden area with stunning views. Internet is hit and miss, but come on, you're not here to watch TV all day or online game! Will definitely be back!

Lovely place, staying in Dutch Barn. Spiral staircase would be a challenge for children or older people but otherwise very welcoming and relaxing place.

A great space for a large family. Really well equipped kitchen and fantastic hot tub. Unfortunately we could not use the en suite shower as it leaked through the ceiling light of the kitchen. Some of the kitchen equipment needed to be cleaned before we could use it as it was greasy and food was stuck on the taps and a chopping board also there was cigarette ends in the garden which was rather unpleasant. Not very good WiFi and communication with the owner could have been better. The cottage could do with a de clutter and a professional cleaner. The bedding wasn't hypoallergenic which isn't great for someone with allergies such as myself.
