About Tweeddale Arms Hotel
Haddington is a market town in East Lothian, and the Tweeddale Arms Hotel sits among its High Street shops and pubs, giving guests an easy base for exploring the area without needing to drive into a city centre. Golf courses are nearby for those who want a round or two, and Drem, with its rail connections, is within reach for a day trip further afield, including to Edinburgh.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in room, and the hotel operates a 24 hour reception so arrivals and late check-ins are straightforward. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant and bar for evening meals and drinks, with further pubs and eateries within walking distance on the High Street itself. Free WiFi runs throughout, and the hotel also offers meeting rooms and business services for those travelling with work in mind.
Practical extras include luggage storage and free parking nearby, useful given the town centre location. Pets are welcome too, so the hotel suits a range of travellers, from those on golfing breaks to guests simply passing through East Lothian.
Diners like this hotel's delicious and high-quality food, with generous portions, including popular dishes like chicken supreme and sticky toffee pudding. They also highlight the friendly, attentive staff and the welcoming, cozy atmosphere.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be dated.
