What visitors say
Good swimming instructors, lovely place to learn and grow. My babies love this place and are always happy to go swimming and learn. There's always sanitary items in the toilet, lockers are in good conditions. Neat and tidy. Forgot to add that the receptionist are always welcoming and keen to solve problems quickly. Great place.

A Very Good Swimming Pool, £5.55 for one adult and free for child. You do need a £1 Coin for the locker. Also there is no time limit in the swimming pool. Also the Silde is closed.

Should be shut down! After googling family pools around Glasgow, we thought Hamilton Water Palace was a good fit as it had chutes, flumes and a pirate ship so good for children of different ages. The pictures on both the website and google also made it look like a fun day out. On arrival we paid and went to the changing rooms. At no point did anyone tell us that several of the facilities were not working. The family changing rooms were tiny and it was very clear the nappy disposal bins did not get emptied regularly as were full and yet the pool was not busy at all. On entering the pool we were met with so many out of order signs. The flume, chute and river rapids which are advertised- all closed off (later found out this has been since Covid but SL council don’t advertise this) The pirate ship was tired looking and several parts of it I.e water canons and fountains were not working. On moving to the main pool I stood on something that felt like glass and couldn’t put pressure on my foot all afternoon. For a Saturday afternoon the pool and facilities were very quiet- a tell tale sign. When we left to get dried the drying machine was broken and the showers were cold. Not ideal when you have two small children. In general the place was dirty looking and the amount in the bins made it clear cleanliness was not high on the agenda! Two days on and both my children are unwell with fever and sickness bug. Will not be back but felt the need to put a review so other families don’t waste time and money.

Granddaughter goes to swimming lessons and she loves it. Seating area could be better stocked with drinks and snacks for those waiting. Toilets in the changing area could be doing with freshening up.
