Home Farm

Families and larger groups will find Home Farm works well for a gathering. The 17th-century farmhouse has five bedrooms spread across three floors, with three four-poster king beds on the first and ground floors, and two interconnecting rooms (twin and single) upstairs that suit children. Two bathrooms and two separate toilets mean mornings run smoothly. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The whole place is yours alone, with private parking for at least four cars.

Downstairs, two sitting rooms with log-burners provide quiet corners, while the music room and cinema room (80-inch screen, projector) occupy the lower ground floor alongside a games room with pool table and darts. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking—Aga, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and everything else needed to feed a crowd. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are all included.

Home Farm sits in the hamlet of Sandway near Lenham village. The 50 acres of heath and parkland opposite are good for dog walks and rambling, with the Pilgrims Way and Greensand Way footpaths nearby. Maidstone, Canterbury and Ashford are within reach by car. No smoking indoors.
