What visitors say
The staff are so lovely here, really friendly chatty and helpful. The front of house area is very clean and well organised. I had an issue with the car park only offering 1 hour or an entire day with nothing in between but the gentleman issued me with a pass to cover me so I didn't get a ticket. The lady who checked my ticket was really nice and said how good the film was that we were going to watch (Michael, and she wasn't wrong it was fab) The actual cinema itself though is really very dated, the chairs aren't overly comfortable, theres an ancient looking artexed swirly ceiling and you get noise and lights coming in from the corridor outside which all combine to give the feeling of sitting in your grans front room in the early 1980s. Odeon really need to look at giving this cinema a revamp. Staff 11/10 Cinema itself 5/10.

Absolutely amazing staff work at this Odeon! I have never had a bad experience here and everyone has always been welcoming and proactive. Today, I had had a particularly bad morning and arrived visibly upset (not my finest hour!) But one member of staff was so, so kind. He helped my son choose the snacks he wanted which gave me that couple of seconds to regain composure and then he went on to check I was ok too. I cannot thank you enough and I am so sorry I didn't get your name. I hope you see this and I hope you know that you made a huge difference to my day, thank you! The film was good too! And the kids deal is really good value and my son loves it! Comfy seats, ear defenders available for little ones and generally so accomodating.

Nice little cinema but getting a bit dated when compared with Everyman and Vue. Would benefit from being modernised. Still a comfy venue for watching a movie with the kids.

We like everything about the Harrogate Odeon. The cleanliness, the atmosphere and the courteous staff. Today my daughter and I went to see ‘Michael’ in screen 1. The high volume of the adverts and pre film programmes was absolutely unbearable. It was so difficult to sit in comfort in the auditorium that we complained to a member of staff at the front desk. He explained that the volume IS loud before the feature film starts, but it would be reduced to a recommended level once the programme starts. This was in fact the case, and we enjoyed the film. We got the feeling we are not the first customers to complain of this extremely unpleasant and unnecessary experience. Please can the manager check on this problem.
