What guests say
We stayed for 2 nights 29th _30th July When we booked, it said limited parking. Absolutely no chance of a space. They gave us directions to a car park. It was a fair walk back and if we had mobility issues it would have been a problem. We booked a small double room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge and generally great room. However, it was so hot. We had a fan that was no good. We opened the window as much as it would go. Unfortunately, the bins and loading area was right below us. They smelled and we were woken very early by the binmen on our second morning. No sleep for both nights really. However, the whole place was clean. I would stay again as location is brilliant. I would be more particular about location of room

I cant really rate the other rooms as unfortunately on one of the hottest days of the year we were given an internal room with no windows and no air-conditioning apart from two floor fans circulating the same hot air which made for a very uncomfortable night. What I will say is on arrival to the hotel which has around 30 parking spaces and places across the street to park, parking wasn't an issue and stepping into the hotel I thought it looked a beautiful property. Had my room been better and on the external with a window I feel it would have been a far greater experience so be sure to ask when your booking

Stayed last night for my birthday, location was fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful, however.......our room was unfortunately hotter than a sauna which completely ruined our stay. Both myself and my partner had to get 5 cold showers during the night to just to attempt to cool down, managed to turn the towel heater off ourselves but the 2 fans we were given were completely useless which resulted in us only having an hours sleep and us actually going home early due to how tired we were. It's such a shame as the hotel and room really was lovely, management need to look into investing in some decent fans for some of the rooms as we weren't the only people staying who had the problem. Would also of been nice to have been offered some compensation when we politely complained to reception but none was given. Lovely hotel......maybe only stay in winter?

Our stay was excellent. The room I had was clean and well kept. It had everything you need to feel at home. Only downside was the down comforter was quite warm during our recent stay. I took one star off due to the parking situation. Basically, you have to find a spot and claim it. If you leave, you put a cone in your spot to hold it. The problem is, our spot got stolen several times so there is no enforcement. The Pickled Sprout is a great restaurant in the hotel. It’s very walkable from the hotel and there are plenty of shops nearby. We also had the full English breakfast in the sky terrace. Breakfast was excellent.
