Interesting display and history. Exhibition of steam train pics was excellent too. Staff helpful, lots of children's activities too. Cafe expensive - 6.50 for an un-iced cupcake. And hot chocolate was very dilute!

A hidden gem. The staff are welcoming, the building is beautiful and the Tiffany glass is breathtaking. They do a good sandwich too. Well worth a visit.

A friendly welcome & useful introduction from reception staff. Fascinating exhibition of beautiful Tiffany glass. Also a temporary exhibition linked to a multi-site commemoration of the 1826 Lancashire Weavers uprising. Lunch in the restaurant wad first class in terms of quality of food and service. Thanks and "Well done" to everyone involved in presenting this hidden gem. Also visitors should take time to visit the Artists' studios on the site especially the flower pressing studio where a young lady preserves bridal bouquets into bespoke mementoes of a couple's special day.

Had our wedding here last year, it was beautiful and intimate. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were fantastic. We've been multiple times before for food and multiple times after, including today for our 1st wedding anniversary and Simon clearly hasn't lost his touch because it was delicious.
