The staff were absolutely lovely—very accommodating and incredibly helpful, especially when my partner fell unwell and they promptly provided fresh bedding. The room itself was quite disappointing; the toilet being located on another level was inconvenient, only one bedside lamp was working, the shower had a large hole in the wall that hadn’t been properly repaired and it’s floor was very grubby. The sink was broken and wouldn’t hold water, and the kettle was missing the filter in its spout. If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep for one night, it’s fine but for longer stays I would go elsewhere. That said, I can’t fault the staff and cleaners for their excellent service.

Really lovely rooms above a pub located in central Hastings east Sussex. Quirky building filled with charm and warm energy. The rooms are a good size , clean bright and spacious. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get pictures as we were busy going out to dinner and stuff but I will re visit & add photos to my review next time I go to Hastings x

Had a wonderful stay, thank you. The breakfasts we had were superb and the steak meal we had last night was divine! Most of all, the Staff were warm, friendly, helpful and informative and made us feel at home. We would love to come back to this fabulous, quirky find in a perfectly placed part of town.
