What visitors say
If you are looking for a fun and unique archery experience in North Devon then a visit to Dragon Archery is a must. Our friends and I try to visit Andy and the team each time we are in the area on holidays. It’s. It’s not just a case of firing arrows at regular round targets, but *no spoilers*. I’ve probably been here 3-4 times now and Andy’s delivery and the coaching from him and his team is consistently superb - you can tell they enjoy what they do.

We went to Dragon Archery as a family of 6, aged 29 - 64. We all really enjoyed the day, and the course is suitable for all ages, beyond our age range! Andy and the team were so friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic. It was our first time, but we will definitely be back every year on our annual trip to Cornwall. Thank you all for such a great day!

Another brilliant afternoon at Dragon archery. Lots of fun, supportive and excellent tuition to maximise ability and achievement, so much so that one of our party is now a Dragonslayer. Always a big part of our annual holiday, something we look forward to all year

Great range, and very friendly instructors. Perhaps too friendly if you value your personal space. I found the coaching to be a far too involved. No real opportunity to learn through experimentation. You're told where to aim before you fire, thereby removing much if not all of the joy. The final challenge, on which you only get one shot, for example, is no fun when someone is breathing down your neck, telling you to aim higher, only for the shot to land too high. You're then offered condolences as though you had anything to do with missing. If you have any experience in education, the coaching might grate on you.
