Martin Reviews

Staunton Country Park is a beautiful and peaceful escape that offers plenty of natural charm and outdoor activities for everyone. The park is full of wildlife, and the large scenic lake is a highlight — perfect for taking in the views or spotting ducks and swans. The landscaped gardens and open green spaces make it an ideal place to relax, have a picnic, or simply unwind surrounded by nature. Whether you’re into walking, running, or cycling, Staunton has well-maintained tracks that suit all levels. Families and friends can enjoy a BBQ or eat lunch by the lake, while those seeking quiet time can explore the wooded areas or just sit back and enjoy the calm atmosphere. It’s a lovely mix of nature, leisure, and open space that makes every visit refreshing and memorable.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Come across this place just by luck first thing massive car park and cost about 5 pound for 2 hours. Then the walk around the park is beautiful so much too see from a lookout house to a playground and a massive beautiful lake with a lovely little bridge and so much history too the place which you can learn along the way. This is a very good day out for families walkers dog friendly highly recommend

Love this park. Nice size and plenty of space, grasses areas, lovely little lake and plenty of woodlands and walkways. Plenty of birds so bring your binoculars or camera and Bird food for the lake. They have a cafe and information centre and benches available in places to sit and enjoy. Paid car park available and walkway available to walk through the to a herb and greens outdoor shop and to Staunton Farm. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place

There's so much to do here that it isn't entirely possible to spend the whole day exploring. On one side you have the paid area where you will find the farm, gardens and cafe. These are all brilliant, especially the gardens, which are stunning and well maintained! The farm is fun, and kids will love feeding the animals. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe which had lots of food options. On the other side you will find a lovely park which has stunning views and some estate walks. The walks are worth doing, but the signposting isn't always great. Parking isn't cheap, but just remember you are paying for the maintenance of the park.
