Fishery Creek Touring Park

A lovely location and great staff team. Food and drink at the Galeon was tasty and reasonably priced. Bathrooms are very old and would benefit from modernisation. That said, they are kept very clean and tidy. Lakeside pitches are a premium spot, but be aware that they do not give much of a lake view. Great weather topped of our lovely visit.

Amazing time away . We are new to motor homing and keep learning every single day. When I booked our stay didn’t know what to expect but we were so excited and happy to see England from different perspectives. The campsite has a lot to offer. Decent sized space for camper and our equipment. On site cafe, plenty of water refill points . Well kept facilities with clean showers and toilets. Shower was a tricky one as the button is fast and I have ended up holding the button with my hand and wash with another. Don’t know it the button is broken or the timing is intentional. Worth checking if. The staff and grounds maintenance team been super helpful and friendly. There is plenty of to do like cycling, walking, fishing and forage. Also on site is a SUP and kajak hire and very reasonably priced, definitely value for money. Highly recommend Thank you for having us!

I’m just back from my second visit to Fishery Creek Campsite on Hayling Island, I just love it there and I was there for a week. The pitches are well spaced out and priced according to where your pitch is, the waterside pitches being the most expensive. The whole place is very well run and kept very clean and tidy. The toilet/shower blocks are slightly dated but clean and there’s plenty of hot water for your shower. Dogs are very welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times within the site but there are loads of walks to go on from the site. The Galleon bar/restaurant serves nice food, delicious cakes and there are visiting food wagons. The site was packed at the weekend but quietened down by Sunday afternoon. Being right on the waterside is great to either paddleboard/kayak (which can be rented on site) or just spectate. The children’s play area either wasn’t open or I missed it but I think it’s just a small area of play equipment The only downside for me which is a minor point is the lack of WiFi on the site although it is readily available in the bar area. Looking forward to my next visit already!

I'm extremely disappointed that following an email enquiring how my stay was, I sent the below reply and to date 3 weeks later it hasn't even been acknowledged let alone replied to. Thank you for your email. We don't want to leave a review yet, until we've received your reply. It would not be favourable to you and our friends camp with you often and always speak highly of you. Unfortunately for us though who have been camping for over 35 years now, we found our stay extremely disappointing. We followed all the rules to the letter and as always are very happy to comply with the individual camp site rules. We had to book 3 nights because it was a bank holiday, though we were only staying for 2, but were very happy to do so as we were meeting up with friends who regularly use your campsite. We all went to bed around 10 pm, our friends were in two caravans, we were in a tent. The caravan behind us had a very tall banner which flashed red, blue and white lights all night long into our tent. Neither of us could sleep and if we did manage to drift off, we woke up thinking the emergency services were outside. We are not young and due to severe lack of sleep we had to leave the next day. I understand all the rules in place, but there should also be one for banners with flashing lights on all night, to protect and respect people staying in tents. You are dominantly caravans and mobile homes, who wouldn't be as affected by this, so maybe you are not aware of this problem. But for people camping in tents, this is not acceptable under any circumstances. We did not approach the offenders because we were too exhausted from lack of sleep. I would be very grateful if you would refund us the one night's stay we lost and if you would add 'flashing light banners' to be turned off at 10 pm to your rules, so future tent campers don't experience the same scenario as we did, thank you We await your reply.
