Groups and large families will find The Smithy Barn works well for a collective escape. The property sleeps 14 across six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, each en-suite room with its own shower. One bedroom includes a cot for younger children. You have the whole place to yourselves, with a full kitchen for cooking together and substantial dining tables for gathering round. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included.
The barn occupies a rural setting in Herefordshire near a pub within a mile. A log burner warms the main living space, which overlooks the valley. The grounds contain a pool (seasonal, May to September), hot tub, table tennis and pool table. There's a zip wire and trampoline for children, and direct access to the River Wye where you can walk downstream towards Biblins Bridge. In autumn and winter the woodland views shift through the seasons from your fireside. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. No smoking throughout. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
