About Badger Barn Retreat

Tucked into woodland on the edge of the Forest of Dean, Badger Barn Retreat is a hand-built couples' hideaway accessed via stone-circle-lined paths through lush greenery. The well-insulated cabin features a proper double bed heaped with feather pillows, an induction hob, tabletop oven and kettle, plus a hot shower and flushing loo just steps away. Over a thousand trees planted in the last two decades frame wildflower meadows, an orchard, nut wood and organic vegetable garden you're free to explore.

Move quietly and you might spot deer grazing by the cabin or flitting between the trees, plus frogs, dragonflies, owls, rabbits, shrews, buzzards and peregrine falcons. The Forest of Dean's walking and mountain biking trails stretch right from your door, with canoeing, climbing and cycle hire all nearby. A stylishly boho escape where nature genuinely takes centre stage.
