What visitors say
Quiet campsite with basic facilities. The owners are lovely, they really did put effort in with the campers. There's a limited number of pitches, so the site isn't too noisy. Kids are free to run around on the field, camp fires are allowed which is always a great feature! The showers were pretty small and dirty though, toilets were the same. They have electric hook up pitches. I do think the price doesn't reflect the facilities. I've stayed in other campsites for the same price, that have a lot more to offer. There's a small washing up area, but it has no hot water, which makes it pretty pointless! The shop is exceptionally small, with very limited stock. There's no launderette. It's not pretending to be anything other than what it is, which is definitely no more than a 3 star campsite, there's a lot of room for improvement.

A nice place to stay close to Knockhatch park. Generally not too busy even during the school holidays. There's a small shop with supplies. You can hire fire pits and fire wood for a small fee. You can also watch the banger racing which is a short walk away. Lots of take aways that will deliver to the site. Reasonable prices too. Showers and toilets included.

Great family day out although quite expensive. Loads to do kids thoroughly enjoyed it.

The weather wasn't great but still plenty to do. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The children really enjoyed feeding the lambs and animal petting. Not very often they have the opportunity to handle a Madagascan hissing cockroach!! A lovely day.
