Sheep’s View Cottage

Sheep's View Cottage is a two-bedroom property on the Glyndley Manor Estate near Wealden. Everything sits at ground level: the open-plan living and dining space, kitchen with breakfast bar, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two singles and French doors to a patio), and a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly – electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer – along with a washer-dryer. The main living area has a Freeview Smart TV for the evenings.

Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. You get private parking for two cars, with additional free public parking available, and one small dog is welcome. The property has its own patio with outdoor furniture. An unfenced lake lies within the grounds, which is worth noting if you have young children. On the wider estate, a fenced swimming pool and children's play area operate during summer, and there are woodland walks with routes connecting to the Cuckoo Trail for cycling or longer rambles. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.

East Sussex's coastal attractions – Beachy Head, Seven Sisters, Ashdown Forest – are all within reach for day trips. Arrive after 3pm and depart before 10am.
