One of London's true little gem. I used to go regularly but I haven't been in years, maybe a decade. Has not changed. Went for the outdoor pool on a hot summer day. Water was cool but not cold. You have to pre book your hourly slot now (you could walk in back in the days) but they don't seem to enforce it much (like the nasties at Peckham's), Downside is that the pools can get mega crazy overcrowded. There are guards who seem to be keeping a good eye on the kids and check they passed the swimming test before letting them loose in the pools. There is little shade, hardly any seating either. You have to move with the sun and lay on the ground. There is a mini garden with sparse seating and lounging and an upper deck with artificial turf totally exposed to the elements. There is an outdoor sauna. I wasn't clear about access and pricing. Crowded so I didn't use it. Probably not very hot with the constant going in and out 3 showers outside (1 cold) and 3 changing cublices as well. I saw an accessible ramp down from reception but i don't recollect any accessible equipment from the street (20 steps or so), nor any hoist for the pools. The centre itself is a maze and you'll earn a medal if you find you way in and out of the changing rooms. Again not sure how this is accessible to disabled. I haven't seen any route. The changing room downstairs have those lockers with padlock which I have never worked out how they work. As clean as it can be for such facilities with the usual damp patches and mildew around in places. There is a small cafe like area with vending machines. It is managed by 'Better' which means quality can be random depending on the centres and prices can be wild if you are not a resident with a membership card. Pricing structure is opaque and you can book the wrong activity as they can have funky names. I now use the ai to give me answers before booking anything at any Better-run facilities.

Mustapha has been a great swimming coach for our daughter. He is patient, attentive, and he does not put any pressure on the her which has really helped her feel comfortable in the water. The biggest achievement for us was seeing our daughter jump into the swimming pool for the first time in her life. She felt safe and confident enough to do it, and we’re very happy with the progress she’s made. We’re grateful for Mustapha’s calm approach and would happily recommend him to other families looking for a supportive swimming coach.

This place is incredible. A hidden gem in the centre of London. The outdoor pool is heated, the changing rooms are huge with plenty of showering facilities, lockers are on a token system. I swam on Sunday morning & was surprised how quiet the pool was. The staff could not have been more helpful. I can't wait to go back when the sun us shining! Travelled from Dorset where I sea swim! Thank you - Fiona

Can’t believe that there’s a lido in central London! Enjoyed sitting on the lower terrace (concrete but a few chairs or space for towels) amongst all the flower pots, then going down for a shower and swim!
