The High Peak's working farms and open moorland make for clear night skies and genuine quiet—the sort of setting where you can actually see stars. Carr View sits on one such farm, a three-bedroom house built to high standards where the owners live nearby and take genuine care with each stay. The working landscape around you comes with a river running through the grounds, offering the option of wild swimming if you're brave enough.

Inside, the ground floor opens into a boot room, then flows into a open-plan kitchen and dining space with everything needed for self-catering: oven, hob, dishwasher, and seating for six. The living room has sofas and an electric wood burner. Upstairs are three bedrooms—each with a zip-and-link bed that converts to twin singles on request—plus a family bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower; the master has its own en-suite. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A travel cot and highchair are available.

The garden wraps around the house with lawn and patio, a BBQ (April to October), and a six-person hot tub for private use. There's parking for two cars and a bike store. The house suits families and groups of friends looking for space and countryside. No smoking inside.
