Carr View - Haystack Haven

Carr View – Haystack Haven is a one-bedroom cottage on a working farm in the High Peak, sleeping two people. The property comes ready to use: electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen is comprehensively fitted out for cooking – electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine mean you can prepare anything from a simple meal to a full dinner. The bedroom contains a super kingsize bed with an en-suite bathroom offering both bath and cubicle shower, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating keeps the whole place warm.

Downstairs is a combined living and dining space with a smart TV, opening onto a front garden with seating areas and a private hot tub for four. There is parking for one car. The cottage is set within the farm itself, so you will be among the animals and farm activity during your stay. One well-behaved dog stays free. No smoking is allowed inside.

This corner of the Peak District puts you within reach of Hope Valley's pubs and restaurants, the caves and walks around Edale and Castleton, Buxton's Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, and Bakewell's riverside walks. Chatsworth House is also nearby. The location suits anyone wanting a quiet base for exploring the National Park, or simply time away with a hot tub on hand.
