17a Husabost

On the Isle of Skye's northwestern coast, 17a Husabost sits on raised ground with views across Loch Dunvegan. Built in 2019, this timber-clad lodge occupies a large private plot that gives real separation from neighbours, with a patio and garden space overlooking the water. The nearest beach is a mile away; a pub and shop are five miles off, though a restaurant is closer at one mile. This is genuine back-of-beyond territory, suited to walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting genuine quiet rather than a village atmosphere.

The open-plan ground floor makes the most of those loch views—a living room with wood burner, dining area and fully equipped kitchen flow together, with a separate shower room tucked away. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a large window framing the view; there's a second double bedroom and a full bathroom with bath and shower. Two guests could also work well here given the second shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the burner are included, along with heating via underfloor pipes. You can park three cars on site.
