Northwest Skye draws walkers and wildlife watchers to its dramatic coastline and mountains. The Sheiling Skye is a wooden lodge for two, set on an 18-acre croft in the hamlet of Totaig with unobstructed views out across Loch Dunvegan towards Dunvegan Castle and the Cuillin range. The property sits on a gentle slope above its own private woodland, which leads down to a beach on the loch shore. A small hill connects the car parking area to the lodge entrance.
Inside, the single bedroom has a kingsize bed. The shower room includes a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space with a woodburner, Freeview Smart TV and books. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Electricity, gas, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial fuel for the stove. A decking area overlooks the grounds.
This corner of Skye suits anyone wanting to explore on foot—Waterstein Head, Dunvegan Head and Neist Point Lighthouse are all nearby. The night sky here is notably dark, making it good for spotting the Northern Lights. Sea eagles, seals, otters and dolphins are regularly seen from the croft. Three Chimneys Restaurant is five minutes' drive away. No smoking in the property.

Myself and my partner have stayed at the Sheiling Skye in April. We have been absolutely delighted with the property, its location, and the wonderful owners and can't recommend more. The cabin offers everything that you need for a stay and more. It's very nicely and comfortably decorated, filled with everything that you need for a few days away including a very nice kitchen, and is located at a very picturesque spot only 15 mins drive away from Dunvegan and about 25 mins drive away from the Neist Point. Sarah is beyond lovely and a very helpful host. Thanks so very much

A fantastic little gem, our hosts Sarah and Jon were so welcoming. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable and warm and set in a breathtaking location with some of the best view I’ve ever seen in my life, even got to see the Northern lights. 10/10, we’re going back.

Woah, what can we say? We HIGHLY recommend this lovely cottage. Our stay here has been nothing but fantastic. We felt right at home! From the cozy, warm atmosphere of the cabin, to the amazing view on loch Dunvegan, to the great hospitality of Sarah and John. We also loved how central this cottage is in Skye. It's so easy to explore all parts of the island by car. Perfect location! Thanks for everything Sarah and John! We will definitely be back! Best honeymoon we could've wished for!

Fabulous B&B. The host Sarah & Jon were absolutely hospital to us. The rooms were very clean, comfortable with amenities provided. Beeakfast was provided in room with generous serving. It was home away from home. The home was near all food and co-op store. Highly recommend this B & B on your next visit.
