Birdsong Cabin is a single-bedroom, ground-floor property in Breakish on the Isle of Skye, sleeping two. The cabin comes fully equipped: electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, so you can cook and manage laundry as you would at home. The open-plan living space contains a 32-inch TV with Freesat and Blu-ray, and there's a patio with garden furniture outside. Private parking for two cars and a bike store are available.
The double bedroom and shower room sit on the same level as the living areas, accessed by just three steps. The location is coastal, a short walk from the shore and Ashaig Beach, where seals, otters and wading birds are common. A pub is within a mile. The surrounding landscape suits walkers and hikers, with low and high-level routes and Munros nearby; visitors use the cabin as a base for exploring Portree, Glenelg, Plockton and Applecross, as well as sites like Eilean Donan Castle and Talisker Distillery. No smoking inside.

What guests say
Our stay at Birdsong Cabin was an absolute dream, and easily one of the best experiences we've had on Skye – and we've been many times! From the moment we arrived, Flora, our host, greeted us with such warmth and genuine friendliness; she made us feel instantly at home. Having visited Skye on numerous occasions, this was our first time staying in the cabin, and what a delightful discovery it was. Waking up each morning and enjoying our first coffee outside, surrounded by the most peaceful and beautiful views, was pure bliss. It's moments like these that truly make a holiday. The cabin itself is a testament to thoughtful hospitality. It had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a cosy and comfortable stay. We genuinely cannot wait to return to Birdsong Cabin. Thanks again Flora, we look forward to visiting you again.

Small, uncomfortable, tatty, felt like it was full of cast off furniture. At the cost I felt like I had been well and truly ripped off. It was like a scruffy shed in someone's garden. I couldn't wait to leave
