Callart Lodge is a pine-built glamping cabin on one level, opening straight into an open-plan living space where the living area, dining zone and kitchen flow together without internal walls. A pull-out double bed sits in the bedroom, and there's a shower room with cubicle and toilet. All essentials—electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered. Underfloor heating keeps the lodge warm in winter; a welcome pack is provided on arrival.
The kitchen has an electric hob, microwave and fridge, which means you can prepare straightforward meals without fuss. Outside, a patio with garden furniture overlooks the grounds and Loch Leven, with the mountains of Glencoe visible across the water. There are steps within the grounds and private parking for one car. No smoking is permitted.
North Ballachulish has small amenities including a shop and bars; Ballachulish village, just across the water, is within walking distance and has a supermarket, café and restaurant. Glencoe is nearby, with its own shops, pubs and places to eat. The location suits couples looking for a quiet base to explore the surrounding mountains, lochs and historic landscapes of the Highlands.
