Cedar Cottage

Cedar Cottage is a detached stone cottage built on a single level, positioned on a quiet residential street in Grantown-on-Spey within walking distance of the town centre and directly opposite forest walks down to the River Spey. The Cairngorms National Park spreads beyond the immediate surroundings, with ski centres, mountain trails and outdoor pursuits accessible from the location.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double and a twin room. The living room has French doors opening to an enclosed garden where you can sit with morning coffee or use the garden furniture on warmer days. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer. A washer-dryer is built in. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with wifi. Two cars can park on site, and the shed holds bikes or sports equipment. One dog stays free.

The location puts you ten minutes' walk from local shops and restaurants, but far enough into a residential street to feel separate from the bustle. The enclosed garden means dogs and children can play safely. Smoking is not permitted inside.
