Clunnie Mor

Aviemore sits at the heart of serious outdoor country. The Cairngorms surround it—hill walking, climbing and mountain biking are on the doorstep. Lochs Morlich and Insch offer water sports. The cottage holds three bedrooms (two with kingsize beds, one single with a pull-out) and two bathrooms. Downstairs, a large living space has a woodburner and French doors opening to a fenced garden; the kitchen comes with an electric cooker, dishwasher, pizza oven and slow cooker. A conservatory houses the sauna. The garden has a hot tub, patio, barbecue and equipment for badminton, archery, basketball and other outdoor games. Essentials like heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. No smoking.

It's a quiet location on the edge of Aviemore village, suited to families or groups wanting a base for activity holidays or simply time outdoors without fuss.
