The Ross-shire coastline around Hilton is scattered with small harbours, rocky stretches and sandy beaches, largely untouched by development. Dolphins and porpoises are regular sights in the bay; basking sharks and belugas turn up occasionally. Within a short walk of Cross Tides, the village has a pub, restaurant, café and shop. The area suits walkers, cyclists, golfers, riders and anyone who wants to paddle or fish. A ten-minute drive opens up more of the Highlands.
Cross Tides is a stone cottage with one double bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor. Downstairs you also get a living room with an open fire (fuel included to start); upstairs, a second living and dining space with views across the water. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine. One car can park on site. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The front and rear gardens are enclosed, with patio seating; a small gate opens straight onto the beach.
The cottage takes one well-behaved pet at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted.
