Dunvegan Castle and its surrounding restaurants sit within reach, as do the island's established walking routes and a local pub. The house itself commands changing views across the landscape—worth photographing at different times of day, particularly at dusk. La Bergerie sleeps six across three bedrooms: a ground-floor super king with en-suite shower, and two further kings upstairs. There's a family bathroom with bath and shower, plus a second shower room on the ground floor. The open-plan living and dining space centres on a wood-burning stove; French doors open onto the garden where you can eat outside in decent weather.

The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker and coffee machine all present—plus a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and an initial supply of firewood are included. The property sits back from the road with parking for three cars and a front garden with furniture. A travel cot and highchair are available. No smoking indoors.
