Loved our stay at Redwood House. We stayed 3 nights on Skye. I loved the location. Fresh air, sounds of sheep bleating and the nightly Cuckoo sounds. Bed was comfortable, wonderful water pressure and very hot water. Now, the best was the restaurant and the breakfast. We elected with cooked breakfast and it did not disappoint. Everything was really tasty. They also have a lovely sunroom with views of the loch plus plenty of games to play or books to read. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were a bit hesitant to stay here, as it is ~20-25 mins from the main city of Portree, but we are SO glad that we did! We were glad to be away from the bustle of the city. This place was charming, with large bedrooms, a bathtub, and gorgeous views of the water and sheep. The breakfast options were wonderful (though a bit confusing and in need of some clarification), and the staff were lovely. They went out of their way to help us get our laundry done last minute! We would absolutely stay here again, it was our favourite spot out of all 7 lodgings we stayed at on our trip.

Fantastic experience! Redwood House is ideally situated in the heart of Skye, making it easy to explore all the well-known attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Each morning’s breakfast was delicious and filled us up for the day’s adventures. The views were stunning—and if you’re lucky, you might even spot otters by the shore in the morning or evening. We’re already excited to return next year. Many thanks again!

The location was wonderful for exploring the sights on the North side of the island. Redwood House was a lovely place to escape the crowds. The staff, the food, and the other guests were lovely. Our room (A1) was the accessible room & seemed newly redone, very clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fresh & plentiful. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night & everything was tasty. Again, the staff were really, really helpful. The views were lovely. We would stay again!
