Loch Insh Lodges - Macallan Lodge

Macallan Lodge is a modern timber building designed to work well for groups of up to six. Set among trees on the Loch Insh estate, it consists of a ground floor with open-plan living space, kitchen, and two bedrooms, plus a first-floor bedroom upstairs. The wood-burning stove anchors the main living area, useful during colder months; initial fuel is included. A veranda faces out onto the grounds, and there is parking for two cars on site.

Inside, you get three bedrooms—one double, two with twin single beds—and a shower room with heating. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided as standard. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, and there's a dining area beside the main living space. The lodge sits within an outdoor centre offering water-based activities on the loch itself, plus walking and cycling trails through the surrounding countryside; a pub is within a mile's walk. One dog can stay free of charge. No smoking is permitted indoors.
