Achandoilach House

The west Highland coast around Strathcarron offers serious walking country and sea views that justify the journey. Achandoilach House sits on its own private land, reached via a tree-lined track that crosses the property's own river—a genuine sense of isolation without sacrificing comfort. One dog stays free; the location is sheep country, so pets must be kept on a lead.

The house holds four bedrooms and four bathrooms across two floors. Three have king beds; the fourth has two singles. Ground floor includes an open-plan kitchen and dining area with dual-aspect windows and doors onto a furnished patio, a separate lounge, and two bedrooms—one with an ensuite shower, the other with a wet room containing both shower and roll-top bath. Upstairs, two more king bedrooms each have their own ensuite; one bedroom has a roll-top bath in the room itself. A sauna and private hot tub are in the grounds. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is private parking for five cars and an electric charging point.

This works for two families or a larger group wanting separate bathrooms and genuine privacy. Winter access to the property benefits from four-wheel drive.
