Druim-Nan-Deur is a bright, two-storey stone cottage standing on elevated ground above Strathcarron, with large windows framing views across the water to mountains beyond. The house sits half a mile from Lochcarron village, deep in Wester Ross terrain where sea lochs cut between high hills. Built to catch those views, the layout spreads across two floors: ground floor has a living room with wood-burning stove and a kingsize bedroom with its own toilet, while upstairs holds two further bedrooms—another kingsize and a twin—plus a shower room. One dog stays free, and the whole property is yours alone.
The kitchen is fitted for serious self-catering, with electric range, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Logs for the stove, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. An enclosed lawned garden wraps round the back with seating, a BBQ and enough parking for three cars. The cottage suits families or small groups wanting a base for hill-walking, fishing, kayaking or simply sitting still with the view—The Wee Campsite is nearby if you need more company. No smoking inside.
