Riverside Cottage is a single-storey property in Drumnadrochit, a village on the shores of Loch Ness in the Highland region. The cottage sleeps two in one double bedroom and has a shower room on the ground floor. The living and dining area comes with a woodburner, television and streaming services, while the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. A utility room houses a tumble dryer.
The rear of the property opens onto an enclosed decking area with garden furniture, and a gated access leads down to the river itself. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. There is parking for one car on site, plus additional space on the road outside. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Drumnadrochit sits within reach of major attractions across the Highlands: Urquhart Castle is nearby, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and several whisky distilleries lie within reasonable distance, and the Moray coast—rated among the world's top 20 coastal destinations—is accessible for a day trip. Inverness, 14 miles away, offers shops, restaurants, theatres and museums. The village itself has pubs and restaurants, and Loch Ness is the obvious focal point for boat trips, watersports and walks through the surrounding forest trails.
