Ground floor living spaces include a sitting room with woodburner and sea views, a dining room with original stonework and open fire, and a farmhouse kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and full cooking facilities. Parking for three cars is on site, and the whole place is yours alone.
Essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, as are initial logs for both fires. The enclosed garden has seating and furniture, though there is a step down to it. The cottage dates from 1800 and retains original features throughout—exposed stone, fireplaces, wide stairs—balanced with reclaimed materials and modern comfort. Wildlife, including deer, visit the garden regularly. The village of Lochinver itself is walkable, with a SPAR nearby for supplies. The property does not allow smoking, and is not suitable for children under five.
