Myrtle Cottage comes ready to live in. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with a welcome pack. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave, so you can cook as simply or ambitiously as you want. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with two singles—and downstairs a bathroom with a spa bath and shower. The open-plan living space has a 30-inch television, Freesat and DVD player, with patio doors that open onto a sitting-out area.
The cottage sits on an 75-acre estate near Ómarach in the Highland coast, less than half a mile from the nearest beach. This is serious walking country: paths lead directly from the cottage along the shoreline and through sandy coves. You'll need your own transport. Two cars can park on site. One small dog is welcome, provided it stays on a lead in the sheep country around you. The property does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and check-out before 10:00.
