Squirrel View

The Cairngorms National Park draws walkers, birdwatchers and anglers to its valleys and mountains year-round. Newtonmore sits at the heart of this landscape, a quiet base for exploring glens, lochs and forest trails. Squirrel View is a timber cottage on the edge of the village, surrounded by its own garden and sitting on private parking for two cars.

The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room on a single floor. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas around a woodburner. You get wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has furniture and a barbecue, plus a bike store if you're cycling around the estate and moorland nearby. There is a stream within 20 yards of the property. No smoking inside.

The cottage suits families or small groups looking for somewhere to base themselves while walking, fishing or simply spending time outdoors. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
