The Barn

The Barn sits on a working farm yards from the Pentland Firth, with open views across the water to the Orkney Isles. Dunnet Beach is within reach—miles of golden sand backed by dunes, uncrowded despite being among Scotland's finest. From here you can surf, bodyboard, swim, ride horses, or watch wildlife along this stretch of coast.

The entire ground-floor conversion is yours alone. An open-plan living space connects kitchen to sitting area, with French doors opening onto a garden patio and lawn. The bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that converts from super-king to twins. There is one shower room. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property does not permit smoking.
