What an amazing site and owners! We stayed for 2 nights in our campervan and loved every minute. Great communication beforehand, easy to find, amazing views, wonderful dog walk and super clean and tidy everywhere. The location is perfect if people are doing the NC500 but equally it’s just a really lovely place to relax for a few days. We saw Risso dolphin from our pitch both days and it’s a lovely walk to the local beach where we saw seals and enjoyed looking for the elusive ‘Groatie Buckie’ shells. We will most definitely return.

This site is a true hidden gem. It is a certified location of the Caravan Club and is is beautifully set out and maintained. Mains points are close by, as is the drinking water. The pitches are large and hardstanding. The views are superb and it is a wonderful quite spot. The owners are charming and welcoming. If you have a dog there is an enclosed field where they can run free. If don't have your own camping unit there are pods for hire. Booking is advised.

Had a fantastic stopover here on our NC500 trip. We were a party of 11 in 3 motorhomes. Found the Crofters Snug online whilst looking for stopovers in the John O’ Groats area. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Jo and Karina have a beautiful spot ideally situated with views looking towards Orkney. Very reasonably priced and great services. Make this your stop for that part of the NC500, they also have pods and a cottage!! Lovely people and a lovely property. With friends from Canada who also were highly impressed. There’s a scone shop on the road into Crofters so try and make a stop there also. They also sent us an amazing video of us arriving and departing in our vans, all set to music! We will return!!

We had a lovely stay in the pod. The host gave us a warm welcome and kindly left milk in the fridge for us, which was a thoughtful touch. The pod was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The sea view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special.🥰 We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
