The Bungalow
Highland

The northern Highlands are wild and open here, with the Cromarty Firth visible across the water and the NC500 running past the gates. The Bungalow sits within the grounds of Ardullie Lodge, a 17th-century listed house set back from the main road up a tree-lined drive. What was once the lodge's billiard room has been converted into a standalone cottage, with its own parking and a small enclosed garden—useful if you're travelling with a dog, which stays free.
Inside, the single open space combines kitchen, dining and living areas around a wood burner, with a Smart TV for quieter evenings. A super king bedroom (twin on request) and walk-in shower complete the layout. The essentials are provided: wi-fi, heating, linen and towels. You're free to wander the wider estate, which is planted with mature trees, including what may be Scotland's largest Giant Redwood, and dotted with rare-breed poultry and sheep. Sea views open up from various spots among the gardens. No smoking indoors.
