You arrive at The Garden Flat Ardullie through a tree-lined driveway and park directly outside. Step through the front door into a hallway designed for outdoor gear, then into a well-equipped kitchen. The heart of the place is the living and dining room, where a wood burner sits opposite patio doors that open onto an enclosed garden—a substantial space with lawn and seating areas. A double bedroom and a twin bedroom (both with zip-and-link beds) lead off from the main rooms, along with a shower room. Original features are scattered throughout. This is a ground-floor flat within Ardullie Lodge, a Grade II listed building dating to the 17th century.
The enclosed garden is the real draw, especially for anyone with a dog. Steps lead up to a lawn and seating areas where you can read through an afternoon. Beyond this immediate space lies the wider estate: vegetable and fruit gardens, paddocks, and old woodland with mature trees including what may be Scotland's widest Wellingtonia. Dingwall sits on the NC500 route, with the Cromarty Bridge a notable landmark as you approach. The lodge itself occupies a hillside position with views across the landscape. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are all included; parking is on site. One pet stays free. No smoking in the property.

Liz was a great host. The cast-iron stove made it cozy. The bed was comfortable. Liz brought a loaf of fresh-baked bread, honey, and farm eggs for breakfast. The garden in the back was great for birdwatching.

Thank you so much for such generous hospitality. We came for a short stay, as a stopover but enjoyed it so much we will definitely coming be back. Your home had everything! Thanks for all the special extras, from the amazing bread, honey, crumble. It really made for a brilliant experience. Thanks also for taking time to tell us about the area. We loved Harry Potter Gorge

I recently stayed at this property with three friends. We all had a fabulous time. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We had everything we would ever need. The location was great too, 10 minute drive from Inverness and lots to do in the area. Liz is the host of this properly and was just fabulous. So friendly and accommodating. She baked us bread and gave us honey from her bees. The flat has a beautiful garden and vegetable patch close by, and Liz encourages her guests to pick their veg from her garden. I highly recommend Ardullie Lodge!
