The Paddock is a terraced farm cottage set on a quiet lane in rural Highland, a mile from Portmahomack. Inside, everything is on one floor: a spacious living room with views across open fields, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, three bedrooms (one king, one double, one single), and a bathroom with shower over the bath. The cottage has electric heating, wi-fi and parking for three cars on site; bed linen and towels are provided. One well-behaved pet can stay free.
Portmahomack is a working fishing village with a harbour, pier and long sandy beach backed by mountains. The village faces due west, giving it distinctive sunsets. You'll find a seafood restaurant, café, shop and a links golf course open to visitors. Nearby is the Tarbat Discovery Centre, which holds Pictish, Norse and medieval finds. The surrounding area has archaeological interest throughout. The Paddock does not allow smoking.
