The Steading

Families, groups and couples seeking space and seclusion will find The Steading works well. It sleeps six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the whole property to yourselves. One dog is welcome. The house sits on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, a remote corner of the Scottish coast where the landscape opens onto the sea and the Camas Inas bay stretches in front. A garden runs down to your own beach—good for launching kayaks or exploring the deserted coastline by water. There's a boardwalk path across the southern edge of the grounds that leads to a viewing platform overlooking mountains and water; seals, porpoises, dolphins and otters are regular sightings from here.
The living spaces centre on an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the loch and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen has a substantial island and full cooking facilities. The master bedroom comes with an en-suite containing a freestanding bath positioned to frame the view; a private balcony is attached. A drying room and utility space sit off the kitchen, plus a separate gym room with loch views. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The house is no-smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Wildlife—red deer, pine martens, golden eagles and sea eagles among them—moves through the garden and surrounding area throughout the year.
