About Sheraton Heathrow Hotel
Hillingdon sits right on Heathrow's doorstep, and the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel is built for exactly that location, offering a practical base for anyone flying from or arriving at Terminal 5. With 426 rooms spread across three floors, it's a large operation set up to handle steady traffic, and airport transfers and on-site parking (chargeable) make the logistics straightforward.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, drinks in room and the option of family accommodation, while accessible rooms are also available. Guests can eat in the restaurant or snack bar, order room service, or pick up a packed lunch before an early flight, and there's a bar for a drink on arrival or departure. The hotel also has a gym, meeting rooms and business facilities, plus concierge and laundry services, making it as suited to work trips as to holidays.
Outside, there's a garden and outdoor seating for some fresh air away from the terminal buzz, and the surrounding area has pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, along with golf and fishing for those with time to spare. Pets are welcome too. It's a hotel built around convenience rather than atmosphere, best suited to travellers who want an easy, well-equipped stopover close to the airport.
People say this hotel offers comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms with soundproof windows, and a good breakfast with many options. Guests also highlight the friendly, helpful, and professional staff, and the convenient location for Heathrow Airport with easy bus access.
Some reviews mention the check-in process can be slow.
