About Llain Ffynnon Camping

Perched high on Anglesey's northwest coast, this tiny family-run site commands genuinely spectacular views – on clear days you'll spot not just the shimmering coastline but Snowdonia's peaks, Ireland, the Isle of Man and northwest England stretching across the horizon. It's a walker's dream: the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path runs nearby, public footpaths thread toward Mynydd y Garn's summit, and Church Bay's pub is just half an hour on foot. Rockpools at Porth Swtan beach and a seafood café are within forty minutes' walk, while the facilities – hot showers, clean loos, washing-up area – earn consistent praise for being spotless and well maintained.

The atmosphere is peaceful and unhurried, with ample space across the handful of grass pitches. Dogs are welcome year-round, campfires and barbecues allowed, and the hosts are reliably friendly and helpful. It's genuinely remote and wonderfully simple – bring sturdy boots and a sense of adventure.

What visitors say

Well where do I start with this place. Its the best place I have ever stayed in and coming from a Welsh person to another Welsh person I’m very happy to say there felt like family and I will 100% but going back and being a regular With my little family. The area is so beautiful with all the great views and it’s a very clean campsite with lots of bins around to make site the place is safe. I cannot recommend this place anymore it’s amazing the people who work and own the campsite are so lovely and very talkative if you like a chat with new people. We had a lovely time it was quite good weather bit a rain and wind but that was no problem. No one can control the weather. They are very helpful and try and help you find a spot if you’re in a tent away from the wind. There are spots that are more sheltered from the wind. They may be away from the view but it’s not a long walk to go and see it. This place is great as you have quite a few toilets so if there is a wait it isn’t long at all. Also the bonus is a hot shower has recently be installed so that perfect for the rainy days when your cold and wet to warm up x

The views from the campsite are breathtaking (can see a beautiful lighthouse and at night it is all lit up, which is magical), in windier weather there are more sheltered areas to camp-up but on a clear, calm day on top of the hill is wonderful for the views. Paul was the most friendly, helpful and attentive site host- he goes above and beyond for customers.
