Salem Fach

Isle of Anglesey

View on Google Maps

Salem Fach comes with everything you need for a self-catering break on Anglesey. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer, so you can prepare meals or do laundry without leaving the property. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The cottage sleeps three: a kingsize bed in one room, a single in the other, and a bathroom with a shower cubicle. Downstairs, the living and dining area has a TV with Sky Movies access, a DVD player and a wood-effect electric stove. Heating is via partial central heating and electric heaters. The hot tub sits in a summerhouse at the top of the garden, positioned to catch views across the countryside towards the Irish Sea.

The property occupies a rural spot on a country lane near Holyhead. It sits on an elevated site with countryside views, surrounded by land that makes it genuinely quiet. The front garden has a patio with furniture, there is bike storage, and private parking. From the doorstep, you can walk or cycle straight into open country; Cemlyn nature reserve, known for sandwich terns and visiting seals and porpoises, is close by. Polecats, owls and raptors are seen locally. The cottage sits on cycling route 566, with quiet lanes and trails spreading across the island. Church Bay, famous for its café and kayaking, is three miles away. The nearest shop is five miles off; a pub or restaurant is three miles distant. Please note the property has steep or narrow stairs. No smoking.
