About Gatwick Cambridge Hotel
Bonehurst Road in Horley sits within easy reach of Gatwick Airport, surrounded by the quiet Surrey countryside that makes this stretch a practical base for travellers passing through rather than a destination in itself. The Gatwick Cambridge Hotel occupies this spot, offering free on-site parking and airport transfers for guests who want to leave the car behind before flying.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and family and accessible options are available, so different types of travellers are catered for. Breakfast is served on site, and the restaurant has built a reputation for its Turkish food, backed up by a bar and outdoor seating for anyone not in a rush. Kids' meals, laundry service, free WiFi and meeting rooms round out the practical offer, and further pubs, restaurants and entertainment can be found nearby.
It's a hotel built around convenience and value rather than frills, which suits most guests fine, though it's worth checking transfer costs in advance as these can run higher than expected, and service at busier times has been reported as inconsistent. For a night before or after a flight, it does the job.

Fantastic value for money and easy transfer to Gatwick airport. We kept our car there for a week whilst we were away. You couldn’t ask for more for the price. You can easily book at the desk for your transfer and it was a smooth pick up on the way back too. The rooms are basic but clean, just what you need for a brief stay before holiday. I also liked the food in the restaurant & the service was great.

Really good hotel. The restaurant is top notch and the service is great. We had a lovely meal and our waiter, Jack, was really attentive and helpful. The food was great quality and delicious - it felt like our holiday had started early! The hotel itself is clean and well kept, it's dated but we found it quirky and really liked it. Maybe don't stay here if you prefer everything in beige, but if you're happy to stay somewhere with period features and a bit of personality then this is a great stopover. We'll definitely be staying here for future airport stops. The shuttle to the airport was the usual swiftly driven minibus but with the extra bonus of the driver listening to some banging dance tunes at 8.30am (we now have a holiday playlist!! 😁)

Pleasantly surprised bye the Cambridge hotel which we stopped over for a night before our flight from Gatwick Airport to Mexico. For the price we paid for both one nights stay and parking the car for 2 weeks and then given Airport transport to and from Gatwick was an absolute bargain. There's a little bar and restaurant on site which was a blessing as I was able to park the car and forget about it, and able to have a nice meal and few sherbet's before getting our heads down for an early start the next morning.

Our room was fine for a 1 night stay before a long haul flight. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and we couldn't get the main shower hot so had to use the hose from the bath mixer tap, but at least that was ok. It was a VERY early start as next-door (No.27 - you know who you are) were up at 3am and (she) using the loudest voice, while talking to her partner with no regard for any other resident. The wall must be the thinnest, as I was even listening to their kettle that was just behind my head. All in all, that was an alarm call, 3hrs before it was required, just before a 15hr journey, but not the fault of the hotel. We absolutely loved the food and service in the Mediterranean resturant, and couldn't fault either.

Other reviews mention airport transfer fees can be unexpectedly high and staff can be unhelpful.
